I completed my Reiki Master in the traditional Usui lineage in 1999 and have 17 years of experience in giving Reiki treatments. I became a Reiki Master Teacher in 2011.
I also possess a M.A. in a combination of Pedagogy, Social Psychology and Children's Psychiatry (FRG) which allows me to conduct a holistic assessment of client's needs and requirements.
I have completed the Advanced Diploma in the Application of Arts in Therapy and Education in 2012 and obtained a Counselling Certificate in 2014.

To me integrating these aspects into the process of healing is the holistic practice of bringing consciousness, light and awareness to those parts of our life where the flow of life energy is blocked. My aim is to help release these blocks in body and mind to work through and overcome these issues which in my experience goes hand-in-hand. I have also recently gained a Postgraduate Certificate in Child Psychotherapy Studies and a Diploma in Child Counselling at the Institute for Arts in Therapy and Education.
I am presently working as a child bereavement counsellor for St Luke’s Children’s Counselling Service. I also offer child and adolescent counselling in my own private practice in my home clinic in Brentwood. I am a member of the BACP (MBACP) and am subsequently working within their ethical framework when treating children. Therefore I find it paricularly important to emphasize that I will only use my background in Energy Healing in my work with children when this is specifically requested by the parents of the children I am counselling.
